Wild West Fishing Charters operates out of Venus Bay, Eyre Peninsula.

Venus Bay, or VB, is a quiet seaside town, roughly halfway between Elliston and Streaky Bay on the Eyre Peninsula. It's a popular holiday and weekend vacation area, mostly because of the fishing.

And Venus Bay hides her secrets well

Just beyond the towering entrance cliffs lies a whole, largely untouched, ocean full of serious fish, and both Dave McDonald and "Tracta" Trev, your gun skippers, know where they are.

Fish species include snapper, nannygai, blue morwong, groper and harlequin fish. Southern bluefin tuna, samsonfish and kingfish are also on the menu when in season.
